I’m Neil Lewis of Junes House.

I cut my teeth in the Chicago service industry while plowing through writing gigs and loving on my sweet kitty for whom this business is named. When I moved to Wilmington, I got lucky when a creative advertising agency took a chance on me. Since then, I’ve built my chops in creative strategy, management, & leadership while learning all the technical skills to execute any creative plan myself.

As the agency’s senior brand & content strategist, I shaped how organizations of all sizes showed up and were remembered. Between that work and my time as marketing director for a nonprofit, I learned something simple and vital: perception is reality, and the way you show up matters.

Ceramics snuck in while I was planning my own wedding. I’d taken a few classes before and had almost learned how to center my clay, so — naturally — I set out to make every single vessel for my 200 person wedding by hand. What started as an insane project became a practice and a love for all things textured, whimsical, and deeply intentional.
